TNI Masapa Welcomed The Presence Of Keikey Village Leader

YAHUKIMO - The Task Forces of the Infantry Battalion 6 Marines, part of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command (KOOPS TNI) in Papua, is currently carrying out mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in the Yahukimo Regency area, Papua Pegunungan Province. On Sunday, 21 July 2024.

During area security duties, the Marines Task Forces, especially the Keikey Post led by First Lieutenant Lalu, held a territorial activity entitled "MASAPA = Marinir Sayang Papua (Marines Love Papua)". This time, Social Communication (Komsos) was implemented by welcoming the presence of the Keikey Village Leader at the Post and continued with communication interactions between the two parties.

The "MASAPA" is one of the important programs conducted by the Task Forces Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Rismanto Manurung. Creativity in creating a safe and peaceful situation in Papua is the main thing that the Task Forces continue to do. With those programs, the Purple Beret Soldiers in the Keikey Village area were trying to understand the security developments in their area of responsibility.

By continuing to prioritize security aspects, the Soldiers at the Keikey Post welcomed and shook the hand of the Keikey Village Leader, Mr. Sakeus Busup. Treated politely and warmly welcomed by the Soldiers, Mr. Sakeus immediately responded spontaneously with a big smile showing his joy being at the Keikey Post. Furthermore, good communication interspersed with laughter occurred on that Sunday afternoon at the Purple Beret Post. Before leaving, Mr. Sakeus said, "Thank you, Marines Commander, for welcoming me to the Post. God bless all Soldiers.”

"Social Communication by the Marines Task Forces through "Marines Love Papua" at the Keikey Post, is an implementation of the TNI conducting inclusive Social Communication with all stakeholders in the assigned area to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region, " said the KOOPS TNI Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, upon receiving the program report.
